Multi-Colour Labels |
Full colour labels involve the full CMYK colour spectrum with spot colours and halftoning and at least four plates to achieve a high quality graphic transfer to a substrate. This is similar to a colour dot matrix printer developing a graphic.
The provided graphic will be “ripped” into the CMYK components by software for development of the separate plates or colours for digital printing.
Separate colours (Spot Colours) such as white, gold, silver or a specific Pantone colour that is difficult to achieve in the graphic with half– toning can be applied to achieve a specific affect on the label |

halftone pattern and finally how the human eye would observe the combined halftone pattern from a sufficient distance. |
